Dr. Singh is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and is Fellowship Trained in Pain Management. Since his residency and Fellowship training, Dr. Singh has focused entirely on Pain Management, honing his skills as an expert in his field. He has been practicing medicine for more than 34 years.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Singh attended the prestigious University of Kashmir Medical School in northern India. After graduating from Medical School, he moved to the United States to pursue more opportunities in medicine and was accepted to an Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in affiliation with Wayne State University in Pontiac, MI.
During his Internal Medicine residency, Dr. Singh took an interest in Anesthesia and was accepted to State University of New York, SUNY at Buffalo. Dr. Singh completed his residency in Anesthesia and went on to complete a Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Rochester in NY. A Fellowship in Pain Management focuses in great detail on the theory of pain and all the best technical procedures to treat pain.
Dr. Singh and his lovely wife Seema have been married for 32 years and have 2 sons. His oldest son, Aviral, is also a physician and graduates from an Internal Medicine residency this summer and plans to return to central Texas to be close to his family. Dr. Singh’s youngest son, Siddanth, has just been accepted to UTRGV Medical School in Edinburg, TX. Dr. Singh has traveled all over the world and loves spending time with his family.
