Services and Treatments

At Arthritis Relief & Vascular Centers, we are experts in relieving pain. We offer our patients a number of arthritis treatments and services that help with knee, joint, and spinal pains, including guided knee injections, viscosupplmentation, and radiofrequency ablation.

Guided Knee Injections for Arthritis

When it comes to treating a patient’s pain, we don’t leave things to chance. We utilize low-dose x-ray technology to confirm needle placement prior to any injection of a medication or product.

Viscosupplementation refers to a particular line of products used in knee arthritis treatments. “Visco” is short for viscosity, while supplementation means we are adding a viscous gel to the joint that supplements the joint’s current volume of fluid.

In short, viscosupplementation acts as a viscous lubricant and cushioning gel that supplements what your body lacks, thus reducing the rubbing and grinding in an arthritic knee.

Epidural Steroid Injections

Epidural Steroid Injections can be performed anywhere along the spine, from the neck all the way to the lower back, depending on the location of the pain. Also known as a “ESI,” this treatment can provide relief from many types of spinal pain, including herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and pinched nerves.

Radiofrequency Ablation

Radiofrequency Ablation is a procedure that can be performed in a variety of body regions to relieve chronic pain. The most common areas are lumbar spine, cervical spine, knee joint, and SI joint.

Facet Joint Blocks and Injections

Facet Joint Blocks and Injections can be very helpful for patients experiencing lower back pain or cervical pain derived from the facet joints rather than the disc. Such pain can often be difficult for a patient to distinguish since it comes from so deep in the spine.

With this procedure, we are able to isolate the source of the pain and diagnostically confirm that the pain is, in fact, coming from the joint rather than the disc. This procedure can be both diagnostic and therapeutic at the same time.

We use advanced medical bracing when our patients need support and pain relief. Whether to help get you back to work, maintain an active lifestyle, or just get to the grocery store and run errands, proper medical bracing – such as knee unloader braces or back braces – will give you the confidence and pain relief you need to get things done.
