Ahmed Farag, M.D. is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. Dr. Farag grew up in Kentucky and attended the University of Louisville where he completed his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering prior to attending medical school.
After graduating medical school at the University
of Louisville, Dr. Farag continued his training in Radiology at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Farag finished his training with a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Interventional Radiology is a passion of Dr. Farag’s that began prior to starting medical school. Today, his favorite part of that passion is the ability to contribute to the betterment of his patients.
Dr. Farag has a particular interest in specialized endovascular procedures used to treat many conditions- including arthritis, uterine fibroids, peripheral vascular disease, venous disease,
and interventional oncology. He prioritizes
pairing excellent patient care with wonderful
bedside manner.
