Andrew Stephen Levine, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Levine grew up in New York and attended undergraduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. After
graduation, he was accepted to Chicago Medical School where he earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree. His residency training tookhim back to New York at the prestigious Hospital for Joint Diseases. Following his Orthopedic Surgery Residency he served his country in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, obtaining the rank of Major. He was appointed Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Fort Polk Army Hospital in Louisiana. He has been in private orthopedic practice in Houston, Texas for over 30 years. Dr. Levine is married and has twochildren. His son Matthew Levine, is an
M.D.,PhD from Yale and Associate Professor of Transplant Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
His daughter Rena is an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice. Dr. Levine is a lifelong offshore fisherman whose hobbies include swimming, scuba diving, 4-wheeling and architectural design/construction.
